Callingly automatically connects to your ActiveCampaign account, allowing you to instantly trigger calls to your Contacts just by adding the right Tag.

In addition, Callingly can Tag your Contact in ActiveCampaign after they were successfully called or if your Agent was unable to reach them.

Step 1: Create an ActiveCampaign integration in Callingly

In the Callingly dashboard go to the Integrations page and click the "Connect" button next to the ActiveCampaign integration option.

Step 2. Copy-and-paste your ActiveCampaign API URL and Key into the Integration

After you click the "Connect" button you will be shown a window where you can enter your ActiveCampaign API URL and Key.

If you need help finding your ActiveCampaign API URL and Key, you can follow these instructions in their Help Center.

Step 3. Click Install Integration

Once the API Key and URL are set up you can click Install Integration and Callingly will do the rest.

Step 4. Setup your Tags and other settings

Now that your integration is installed you can select a few options.

Under Team you can select which Team you would like the Leads from this integration to be assigned to. Remember, all of your call settings, routing and retries are set up on the Teams page.

Under Tag That Starts Call you can select which Tag, when applied to a Contact in ActiveCampaign, will trigger a call to that Contact through Callingly.

Under Tag On Successful Call and Tag On Missed Call you can select which tags will be applied to your Contact in ActiveCampaign after they were either successfully called or missed.

After you make your selections, just hit "Save" and you're all set!

Syncing the Deal Owner with your Agents

For leads coming into your ActiveCampaign, they may be assigned to a Deal Owner. In this case, you'll want to ensure the Deal Owner is synced up with your agent on Callingly.

First, you'll have to find the ActiveCampaign ID for each of your users.

Then, on Callingly's Agents and Schedule page, click on the Edit button for the agent, and add in the ID under the Custom ID field:

Then, when a lead with a Deal Owner is passed into Callingly, the lead will maintain that relationship with your agent as the deal owner (we use the term Lead Owner on our side).

If you'd like our systems to call the Lead Owner first, please see our Call Routing page for more information.
